Girl Flock Party is a boutique women’s social organization and community initiative based in the Austin area. Created by local mixed media artist Melanie Allison as an extension of her online gallery, it operates as a small community initiative rather than a business or non-profit.
The organization is named after its signature gala event, which serves as a powerhouse for networking, brand awareness, and female empowerment, as well as a fundraiser for our annual woman-owned business scholarship. Throughout the year, we provide cozy social events, peer mentorship, camaraderie, and support for women at every stage of their journey.
As a community liaison, Melanie chooses specific local charities each season to support through volunteering, collecting donations, and raising funds. What started as a local vision has grown into a thriving community, including a dedicated Facebook group of over 1,000 members.

Girl Flock Party is a social organization for women-identified. While our emphasis is specifically on empowering and elevating female founders, we firmly believe in supporting all small business owners and welcome anyone who champions our mission. It is dedicated to providing an empowering experience for everyone who participates in or supports our community.
Our Core Values
Community First: We believe a network is for developing personal & business relationships, sharing knowledge and experience, and building trust.
Empowerment: Our goal is to encourage women to support each other at all stages and levels of their personal life and career.
Collaboration Over Competition: We encourage a collaborative approach to foster growth and development of our own and each other’s businesses. We are NOT category exclusive.
Mutual Support: We work in service to each other.
Expectation of Kindness & Respect
To maintain a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment, we require all members to treat one another with kindness, empathy, and respect at all times.
This standard applies to all interactions within our Facebook group, as well as how we engage, communicate, and operate outside of it (including in-person events, private messages, and external collaborations).
Enforcement & Founder Discretion
Zero-Tolerance Policy: Disrespect, harassment, bullying, toxic behavior, or actions detrimental to the group culture will not be tolerated.
Consequences: Anyone who fails to uphold these standards will be released and permanently blocked from the Facebook group, events, and overall organization.
Final Authority: All decisions regarding member status, removals, or blocks are made at the sole discretion of the Founder in the best interest, safety, and well-being of the community.
