2022 GIRL FLOCK PARTY, ETC.

I can finally catch my breath since our SOLD OUT event, the 2022 Girl Flock Party, held on March 27th at The Cathedral in Austin. To quote my Instagram post: “Thank you to everyone that attended and to those that couldn’t make it - you were missed! I wish I had more time to visit with everyone. I noticed some folks came and gone - so my apologies if I didn’t get to talk or visit with you! So much fun and my eternal gratitude goes out to our donors, sponsors, volunteers, venue, vendors, and attendees. We appreciate your support and participation!”

We could not have put this women’s networking event together without the support from our sponsors, donors, and vendors. A heartfelt thanks from Girl Flock Party goes to (Instagram handles):

If you remember, my post after the 2021 Girl Flock Pool Party, I had a list of wants for the next event: invite the public, have a bigger venue, donors, and registration, plus support a local charity. Everything on the list was checked off, except the charity event happened during Christmas time. In addition to this, we had sponsors, a photo booth, a dj, a step-and-repeat, a dessert truck, mini-charcuterie boxes, (sponsor) display tables, a raffle, and so much MORE! It was an amazing event and the relationships built before, during, and after the party will continue to be fostered and appreciated. Our first public event was definitely a learning experience and will contribute to how the next party will be organized. So many ideas are flowing in my head and I can’t wait for the 2023 Girl Flock Party.

All photo albums from the event have been posted! Attendees, vendors, & sponsors - download your photos/videos by clicking the buttons below. In other news, the roles reversed and Girl Flock Party was a silent auction prize sponsor for the Wilco Chaps Black and White Social on April 8th at the Celebrino Event Center. This year, the WilCo Chaps Black & White Social will help raise funds for assisting local organizations provide grants and scholarships to benefit citizens of Williamson County. Over the last decade, the Chaparral Women’s Club has granted more than $692,000 and dedicated countless volunteer hours to charitable organizations and individuals within our community. It was a great turnout making an even greater impact in the community. Thank you to our members that donated items on behalf of Girl Flock Party: @houseofstrout, @buttonandbrass, and @taniadelarosa1978 of @colorstreet.

More events are on the horizon for myself and for Girl Flock Party. Please check the Events page for April happenings and further details. This weekend, I am an artisan vendor at The Ruby Hotel & Bar’s Easter Brunch. Also, on the 24th, Girl Flock Party is hosting a Ladies’ Coffee Meetup at 309 Coffee in Georgetown. It will be super casual, right before Poppy Fest kicks off their Sunday festivities.

For May, we will be scheduling a super, duper fun shopping party on the weekend. We are also working on a headshot event, some webinars, a garden party, happy hours, and more, so stay tuned and keep networking, ladies!

As for myself, I am currently working on a local artists feature in the new guide BeLocal Georgetown as well as contributing to a book/online course a friend is writing for creatives. I will keep you posted!
